This is your timesheet workspace. Once you connect a calendar or log in to add entries, your weekly draft timesheets appear right here, ready to fill in and submit.
The Draft Timesheet is a weekly timesheet built from your calendar: a single grid with a row for every organisation, project and task you work on, and a column for each day from Monday to Sunday. You fill it in across the week and submit it when it's done.
Most people never start from a blank grid. Connect your Outlook or Google calendar on the Import screen and your meetings and events drop straight in as draft lines, so your week is mostly filled in before you've typed a thing. Pick the project each line belongs to, check the hours, and you're most of the way there. Prefer not to connect anything? You can add lines by hand instead and the grid works exactly the same way.
Picking a project does the heavy lifting. VibaCloud takes whether the time is billable and the hourly rate from the project itself, so you don't set rates per row. As you enter hours, your billable hours, non-billable hours and total value for the week add up live, with a daily total along the foot and a line total down the side. When the grid reflects your week, submit it. That freezes the hours, rates and values so the week stands as a record you can rely on, and if you spot a mistake later you can reopen it, fix it and submit again.
Draft timesheet FAQs
What is a draft timesheet?
A draft timesheet is your week in progress, before you submit it. In VibaCloud it's a weekly grid with a row for each organisation, project and task, and a column for every day from Monday to Sunday. You fill it in across the week and submit when it's complete, which freezes the hours and values as a record.
Do I need to connect a calendar to use the Draft Timesheet?
No. Connecting Outlook or Google is the fastest way to fill a week, because your meetings and events import as draft lines automatically. But you can also start from an empty grid and add lines by hand, so the Draft Timesheet works with or without a calendar.
How are my hours and billable value worked out?
You enter the hours worked per day on each line. VibaCloud takes whether the time is billable and the hourly rate from the project you pick, then totals your billable hours, non-billable hours and value for the week as you type. Non-billable lines count towards your hours but carry a value of zero.
Can I edit a timesheet after I've submitted it?
Submitting locks the week so the numbers stay trustworthy and entries become read-only. If something needs fixing you can reopen the week, make your changes and submit again. Every reopen is tracked, and you can view or print any past week from My Timesheets at any time.
How is the week laid out?
Each row is one piece of work, grouped by organisation, project and an optional task. The seven columns are the days Monday to Sunday. A daily total runs along the foot of the grid and a line total runs down the side, so the hours add up both ways.
Is my timesheet data private?
Your timesheets, calendar events and projects are scoped to your own account, so you only ever see your own data. Calendar access is read-only and used purely to build your drafts.
