Cookie Policy

Last updated: 25 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how VibaCloud ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you use the service, what they are for, and the choices you have. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information more generally.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device through your browser. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time, so you do not have to set them again on every visit. Similar technologies, such as values stored in your browser's local storage, can be used for the same purposes, and we refer to all of these simply as "cookies" in this policy.

How we use cookies

VibaCloud uses cookies for a deliberately narrow set of purposes: to sign you in, to keep your session secure, and to remember a small number of preferences so the app behaves the way you expect. We keep our use of cookies to the minimum needed to run the service. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites.

Cookies we use

  • Essential cookies — required to sign you in with your Microsoft or Google account and to keep your session secure while you use the app. These include authentication and anti-forgery cookies that protect your account. The service cannot function without them, so they are set whenever you use it.
  • Preference cookies — remember settings and choices, such as your chosen view, so the app works the way you left it. These are not strictly essential, but they make the service more convenient to use.

We do not use advertising, analytics-for-marketing or third-party tracking cookies. Signing in with Microsoft or Google may involve cookies set by those providers as part of their own authentication process; their use of cookies is governed by their respective policies.

How long cookies last

Some cookies are "session" cookies that are deleted when you close your browser. Others are "persistent" cookies that remain for a set period so you can stay signed in or keep your preferences between visits. The exact lifetime depends on the cookie and its purpose, and persistent sign-in cookies expire after a period of inactivity or when you log out.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you block cookies or alert you when one is being set. Please note that essential cookies are needed to sign in and use the service, so blocking or deleting them will prevent you from logging in and using VibaCloud. You can also sign out at any time to end your session, and you can disconnect a calendar provider from your account settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the service or the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
